A security deposit is required to reserve a date. It depends of event ending time. Your deposit less any fees for damage to the facilities will be returned 7 business days after the event. Payment by check, cash or money order only for all charges incurred.
The offering is a gift to the church and is not refundable. The Cultural Center requires a written notice that you wish to cancel your event, otherwise your date will not be released.
The Cultural Center requires a confirmed count, table arrangements and seating/set up plan 10 days prior to the event.
All beverages and food should be provided by an approved caterer.
Scheduling for set-up times for bands, florists, bakeries, etc. must be arranged with The Cultural Center office. Special equipment or additional rentals must be ordered at least three weeks prior. Daytime events must end and guests vacate the banquet area by 3:30 pm to allow for evening event set-up. Set up may occur during regular business hours of 10:00am and 3:00pm Tuesday thru Friday as long as the rented facilities are available.
Confetti, rice or bird seed are not permitted to be thrown on The Cultural Center premises. Confetti may not be used as table decorations or a $150.00 minimum cleaning fee will be assessed. The use of thumb tacks, tape or nails for decorating is prohibited. No helium balloons allowed. The entire facility is non-smoking.
The Cultural Center reserves the right to control the noise level of any band or disc jockey. The use of smoke, bubble or fog machines is prohibited. The music may play until midnight. For evening events your guests must vacate the Cultural Center and adjacent parking and grounds by no later than 12:30am. Your cleaning/breakdown crew must complete the removal of all items and have the facilities cleaned by 2:00am. A fee of $250.00 per half hour past 2:00am will be charged. The 250 dollar fee per half hour also applies for time after the scheduled completion of your event even if before 12 am. This includes any trash created by your invited guests in the parking and adjacent areas. Any inconsistencies requiring additional cleaning or repairs to the facilities and adjacent grounds will be deducted from your deposit.
The lessee is liable and bears responsibilities for any actions and/or damages done by their contracted vendors or guests.
The lessee agrees to save and hold the owners and operators of The Cultural Center harmless from any and all liability whatsoever from The Cultural Center facilities and fully indemnify The Cultural Center and any of its agents or assigns.
The Cultural Center is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
